Charlotte North Carolina – Fun For Kids and Families

Charlotte North Carolina is a city with a wide variety of attractions and activities for children of all ages. For instance, visitors can explore an indoor rainforest or enjoy a show at the Children’s Theatre of Charlotte. Families can also spend an afternoon at Discovery Place, a museum that is fun for kids and parents alike.

Charlotte was historically known as a major manufacturing and textile center, but through Vision Plans, the city has modernized its economy to a more diverse range of businesses. Today, Charlotte is growing its fledgling tourism industry. Its central business district is one of the most visitor-friendly areas in the Carolinas.

Charlotte is also home to the Carolina History and Haunts Ghost Tour, one of the city’s most popular attractions. This guided walk through the city’s historical past is particularly enjoyable and perfect for couples. While the tour takes place under the light of candles, guests will be able to hear local ghost stories as they are told by the guides.

The city has an excellent job market with many big employers like Bank of America, Lowe’s, American Airlines, and Wells Fargo. Many residents work in the Health Care and Social Work industries, but Charlotte is also a hub for technology companies like Amazon.
