Charlotte North Carolina is Rich in History and Enjoys Four Seasons
Charlotte North Carolina is a city that is rich in history. It was the site of the first gold rush in the United States. The federal government opened a branch of the US Mint in the city, and you can visit the Mint Museum, located in an historic building. There are many gold mines in the city, and some of the streets were once paved with gold. This city has been the setting for a variety of films, including Homeland. Besides being rich in history, Charlotte has been a host to presidential nominating conventions twice.
Charlotte is also known for its delicious cuisine. There are many great Mexican restaurants, such as Cabo Fish Taco and Cantina 1511. You can also find great sushi restaurants in the city, including Pisces Sushi and Mr. Tokyo. If you are looking for something a little more exotic, Charlotte also has great Italian restaurants and Middle Eastern food options.
Charlotte enjoys four seasons and is the ideal climate for people who enjoy warm climates. Winters are relatively mild, with only a few inches of snow a year. If you live in the Charlotte Mountains, you might even get fresh snow when temperatures drop. Summers can get a little warm, but they’re nothing like the oppressive heat of southern states.
Charlotte also has many wonderful breweries and wineries. Visit at least one and sample some local brews. Breweries in Charlotte include: The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery, the Sycamore Brewery, and Divine Barrel. Many of these places offer tours and tastings. These breweries are a unique experience.
