Summers in Charlotte are warm and humid, and the city has plenty to do to cool off. There are outdoor pools and concerts, as well as establishments that sell icy drinks. However, be sure to bring sunscreen, too! The climate in Charlotte can be unpredictable. The city is located in the 546-square-mile county of Mecklenburg.
