Located in the southern Piedmont region of North Carolina, Charlotte is a fast-growing city. Its economy is largely fueled by tech and the insurance industry. As a result, Charlotte is one of the best places in the United States to find a job. In fact, Charlotte has an unemployment rate of 4.9% and a median salary that is above the national average.
The Bechtler Museum of Modern Art is one of Charlotte’s most impressive art-related attractions. This museum contains almost a million pieces of art and is open every day but Tuesday. You can also check out the museum’s interactive exhibits, such as a water tank, a butterfly pavilion and an indoor rainforest.
The NASCAR Hall of Fame is another fun Charlotte attraction. There are several tours of the hall of fame available, including the Funny Bus, which has an R-rating.
The city of Charlotte is one of the most culturally rich in North Carolina. The city is home to the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center, which boasts excellent sound quality and features live theater, music and other fun activities. It is also home to the Mint Museum, which is housed in a historic building.
The city of Charlotte is also home to several breweries, such as Olde Mecklenburg Brewery, Sycamore Brewing and Divine Barrel Brewing. If you’re a beer enthusiast, be sure to stop by one of the local breweries to enjoy a beer. You can even sign up for a tour of a Charlotte brewery.
