Rain is moving back into the area early Sunday. Expect scattered showers across the Charlotte during the first part of the day. It’s going to be more of a hit or miss set up with the steadiest rain to our south across central South Carolina. Highs near 50 on Sunday afternoon.

Located in the southeast region of North Carolina, Charlotte is the largest city in the state. The city is also home to the NFL’s Carolina Panthers, the NBA’s Charlotte Hornets, and the NASCAR’s Charlotte Motor Speedway. It is also the site of the annual Belk Bowl game, which features teams from the Southeastern Conference.
