Dry and mostly sunny weather in Charlotte, NC: Larry Sprinkle forecast

Tuesday, Dec. 13, will be another day with mostly sunny skies in the Charlotte metro. WCNC Charlotte forecaster Larry Sprinkle says the biggest difference in Tuesday and Monday’s weather will be the chilly temperatures. Rather than the upper 50s like you’d expect, the Carolinas will only be in the upper 40s. Some areas could hit 50 degrees, but most of North Carolina and South Carolina will hover around the 40s. Tuesday evening will see partly cloudy skies with overnight clouds keeping temperatures in the mid-30s for most of the region.

Wednesday and Thursday will be slightly warmer, with afternoon temperatures in the 50s both days. Rain chances will increase to around 50% Wednesday afternoon before widespread rain across the Charlotte area Wednesday night. The rain will linger through Thursday morning with heavy showers at times allowing for 1-3 inches of rainfall.

By late Thursday night, skies should begin to clear. The low Wednesday night will be around 41° and close to 35°. #WakeUpCLT #Weather #Forecast
