It's always the leading edge of a System like this ahead of a cold Front that'll have the Kingston Line for a spin up tornado. That's what we are looking at. And if you look at your tornado Watches in North and South Carolina, It's all east of here. Even our counties were just outside Of that because the main energy is Pushing its way off towards the east. So here's what's happening right now. You have just some light rain

That is left behind in Charlotte. So if you're watching. From Cleveland County right now You're almost done with the Rain for most of the day. The only thing you're gonna see is Maybe a few spotty lingering showers. Thunderstorm is concluding, So no worries about thunderstorms really. West of I-77, Still some decent precipitation. Following east of I-77, These rain rates could be up To about 1/2 inch per hour, But I think these are gonna be out of Here over the next couple of hours. But this leading edge right here That is now leaving our viewing area, That's gonna be the big cause of concern. You can see it right here, these little. March is moving through, Almost done with Chesterfield County, So right now we're not seeing any Tornado warnings. We did have some. These are only lasting about 15 minutes because of the quick Nature of how they spin up. Usually on the ground for a couple of Minutes if that does come to fruition. Here's the lingering activity, Maybe a few spotty rain showers behind this, But pretty much we're closing the book on Our severe weather chances for the Charlotte. Yeah, Which is good news. Hourly forecast, We will have a chance for maybe a broken Sky and that's going to allow for a Little bit of sunshine to conclude The day sunshine always falls rain, One of my all time favorite sayings And we have the mid 60s and then Mostly clear through the overnight And our futurecast is showing here It is a few spotty rain showers By about mid to late afternoon. I think by 4:00 o'clock we're pretty Much done with everything and then By the time the sun is setting, Maybe we'll have a brighter sky for a Much better end to the day rain chances. After that we're waiting for a little bit. Nothing surefire like a widespread Event like we just saw isolated activity Possible Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. But most likely a lot of those Days are staying dry because once the Cold front moves in my favorite weather Systems moving in and it's rear that Is just looking at a high pressure System keeping things nice and dry. To be a rain chance on Sunday once It gets a little bit closer to us. As far as the jet stream goes, We're always looking at temperature swings. We are going to see eventually I think The biggest cooldown not until about. Day 10 of the forecast, That's where things really start To dig down in the South, You can see right here this Would be the following Saturday, So the 2nd Saturday of 2023.
