In 2019, when Charlotte was awarded an expansion team by Major League Soccer, the excitement in the region was evident. Built from the ground up, the club made it known that its mission was to be a unifying force for the Carolinas and encourage a sense of belonging for all Charlotte FC fans. Or the crown for the crown for the Ground or the crown for the crown for The crown for the team for that club for Charlotte Charlie it's the Queen City This is an extension of what this city Means to all of us for the crowd means That we're in this together or this club For the city for Charlotte this is who We are this is what we stand for Charlotte FC all the way baby for the Crowd Charlotte's just such a great City and It's amazing to see all the growth that Has gone on and that growth continues Even to this day I mean Charlotte is one Of the fastest growing cities in the U.S And the idea of bringing soccer here was This other way about being disruptive And reaching out to our community the Opportunity to be a part of it from the Ground up has been so cool everything From getting to talk about what the kit Design is going to look like to how the Team's going to show up and knowing that David Tepper and his organization stand For excellence and that they want to get To Championship type of soccer really Quickly from the get-go when we Announced the team everyone was all in And no matter if it was a thunderstorm Night Wednesday game Thursday game at Home and away game everyone the whole Season had this tenacity about him and Wanted to be here I feel like Charlotte

Has been needing a morale booster and Charlotte FC and the fans and supporters Have definitely given to such a morale Booster to the city and to myself Honestly when we released the kit you Know there was a lot of people there That we hadn't met before and just just Seeing how many people showed up for the Kit release let us do something special As far as the kit goes I'm definitely on The team black standpoint I love the Mint accents to it team blue team black You know I I can't even choose honestly The team blue because uh the stadium is In blue color and the Queen City is blue The themes of royalty meant to really Influence what we did inside the stadium So having the coronation as our fan Moments and the epicness of the throne Itself has become truly an icon of our Match Day environment whether it's our Fan coronating someone pre-match to Players jumping up on the throne and Celebrating with our fans in the match And then post match having our man of The match in that Throne going on to the Throne when you win a man of the match Is an amazing feeling because you know The fans are all around you you have That crown on your head it was an Amazing feeling and you know I hopefully Have many more to come Ah what does Charlotte FC mean to me Um

Charlotte FC means the start of Um the manifestation of my wildest Dreams I've always seen myself DJing for Many many people to see all of these Fans that they were my kids and my Gloves it means me a lot and I I try to To give something small from from me to Say it's just a tank to to all of these Fans from the bottom of my heart now That the season has I guess ended it's Really like I'm just so blessed I feel So blessed to be a part of that Inaugural season and to keep it going We've learned a lot this year now we can Really hit the ground run and come Season two and really build upon what We've done we are really happy that we Have support from our fan base like this Because every result was not how we want But they keep us forward and Thank thanks a lot for for this whole Year it will be much much better next Year
