With so many cultural events happening throughout the year, there is never a shortage of fun and exciting things to do in the Queen City. From film festivals and porch fests to performing arts showcases and food and wine weeks, there is always something to do in the city.
Life in Charlotte is full of energy, excitement and a strong sense of community. The people of Charlotte are proud of their city and will do anything they can to make it a better place to live.
Sports in Charlotte are a huge part of the city’s identity and it is not uncommon to find bars packed with fans when a sports event is taking place. Whether it’s football, baseball or soccer, the city is home to professional teams that play all over the country and the world.
Weather in Charlotte is usually pleasant with the exception of a few rainy days. The most common type of precipitation is rain, but snowfall can also be an issue depending on the season.
Cost of Living in Charlotte is cheaper than in other cities along the East Coast. Despite the recent increase in housing costs and rent, it still has one of the lowest average prices.
Jobs in Charlotte are growing and the city is ranked 7th in Forbes’ Best Places for Business and Careers. The banking industry is a major player in Charlotte and the healthcare sector is another top employer.
