Welcome to a special edition of the Hurry up I'm here with Panthers Offensive coordinator Thomas Brown Thomas day one of rookie mini camp in The books what was the goal today the Goal was to first off with a really good Job of an install standpoint to make Sure our guys get line up and function At some of these opposite rookies for The first time whether the draft picks Or free agents tryout guys are all kind Of super nervous so I dropped coaching Staff watch so I'm just trying to defuse Some of that negative energy help guys Less we can evaluate and also execute on The field on the offensive side how did They all do today you know really good For the most part I think because the Energy was so high at the beginning a Couple guys kind of wore out towards the End of practice which is which is normal To be expected so we got to do a really Good job as coaches of some more kind of Tempering down some of the individual Stuff and obviously some of the seven on Seven full speed reps but I would say Overall a step in the right direction That's great and you know I'm going to Ask you about Bryce young you got a Really good look at him today what'd you Think you know obviously it's gonna be a Long road to him being at his best uh But I would say from a day one Standpoint the operation the execution

They may have had one hiccup here there From a call standpoint but he was who I Thought he was going to be as far as Being efficient a great communicator The House of the game uh the football IQ and How he operated in and out of the Huddle Was awesome oh that's great very very High praise for a first day on the job And you know of course it's not all just About the rookies even though that's the Focus this weekend the guys have been Back in the building got OTAs right Around the corner so how is this offense Coming together no really good I would Say what's impressed me the most is the Guys that's in the detail in the Meetings that was an environment when I Was in LA with really smart guys were Really engaged I mean these guys from Day one have been locked in action Questions uh kind of making some Progress from day to day but also Coaching themselves I know Frank says it All the time I've said a bunch before in The past but to be a great football team To be a great offense it's going to be a Player live so having some of those Veteran players speak up encourage guys Bring along the group has been awesome To see that is great to hear thank you So much for the time I know it's been a Long practice I appreciate it awesome Anytime
