Hurst shared an update on his recovery from offseason surgery.

How you feeling and what's your Projections Yeah I feel pretty good Um battling with a groin and hernia Surgery that I had right after the AFC Championship game I played with it all Year since week one so um just going Through mechanically figuring out how to Run healthy and all that stuff again but Should be in walkthrough and routes on Air tomorrow so It's fun to get back out there get back In the mix Yeah I mean it's important to get out There obviously knock the rust off and Things like that I think that's what Spring ball is for but my goal right now Is to get healthy I want to be I want to Play in all 17 games I haven't done that Last didn't do it last year and it's a Big goal of mine this year so I'm just Focused on getting healthy It's very tight end friendly when you're In the Red Zone kind of it's very tight And Centric I think everything kind of Goes to that especially when you have a Young quarterback so you get the ball Out quick the guys that are kind of in Your first side of vision so it's Exciting to be in those progressions and In those reads Did Frank been able to kind of become Become creative with that position Certainly

Um I think you just look at his track Record what he's done with all those Tight ends those F's you know Gates Earth's Um Eric Ebron when he was in Indy Um you know being I guess that F guy or Whatever that hybrid if you will which I Am um it's fun you know you can kind of Move all over the place you know it can Be at one two three you can be isolated On the back side so it's fun it's a good Offense to be a part of Just being consistent I think with a Young quarterback like that like you Said he's trying to get the ball out He's trying to see guys like in his Vision just being consistent working With him understanding how you're going To run around how you're going to Present yourself to a throw just get on The same page with Bryce How much does that kind of help you when You're out in space Yeah it's just fun um I know I'm big I Know I'm fast and I know guys in the NFL Necessarily don't like to get in there And tackle on the outside so for me if You can run across the field and get me The ball closer to the sidelines like I Know like I can turn it up I can jump Over guys go through guys go around guys Just it's fun you know getting to Utilize my athletic ability Grabbing 10 different chances to be that

Number one tight end guy kind of Different things have happened are you Excited to have that chance here again Like you said with the younger Quarterback you can establish that Relationship with certainly I mean That's the whole goal you know you want To be the Titan one wherever you are uh You want to showcase your abilities I Was able to do it in Atlanta and did it In Cincy last year it was a lot of fun And I just want to bring that confidence Here Experience character he's one of the Best humans I've ever been around you Know he's in the first guy in the Building every morning I see Von's car I See him getting out of the showers or Whatever he's hitting a lift he's in the Sauna Um he's the quarterback of the defense That's what he did in Cincinnati that's Why we were so successful on defense Last year he's kind of the captain out There getting him is a is a pretty big Deal you know he brings that confidence In that experience Yeah yeah absolutely he's a bigger guy You see the 45 on him but yeah he's out There spread out with us he's running Crossers he's running dovers and things Like that it's cool to see him in there Yep cool
