Jaylin Lindsey Press Conference: Win or Go Home Mentality | Club Necaxa Preview

Jaylin Lindsey speaks to the media about the ability Leagues Cup has to bring together MLS and Liga MX to compete at a high level, his excitement surrounding the next home match against Club Necaxa and more ahead of this weekend’s match at Bank of America Stadium.

[Music] I just Just kind of it's definitely a Competition in there to see you know how We do against those kind of performance And obviously with my experience Um you know I guess Um you know in Mexico or you know Atlantic countries As well so Um I've seen how those games go about And you know that you have experience as Well There's a game like this I know that in Dallas maybe you can put on Yourself But when you have knock knock So does this maybe hit a little Different than what a regular season Games yeah I think on these games I mean we just know that like these Games you'll literally win or go on type Thing and I think that puts a lot more Pressure on the game just to pull up Result Um Have got that leverage to be like oh no It was reply again we're going next one And wait and see how you did the next Thing about that Um this game so you got one game the Show with a guy and if not then in one Hall so uh it just has that kind of Added pressure which is you know for me

Personally I love because they just had A question through our team Uh it makes a lot of stuff Yeah I mean I think like I said it was Supposed to say before like it's like That whatever goal mentality and so I Think the biggest thing is just that Mentality you know mine said you know Whether it's in you know like 10 minutes Uh or the shootouts like you know have To be you know better prepared and we Have to you know go out there and do This whole Um I mean it's very important I mean Because obviously this police comes to Give us a chance to Um you know gain some confidence Obviously with the you know win the Shootout Um you kind of see it this week but it Seems kind of morality cut across a Little bit so uh we're gonna go up there And you know hopefully import tomorrow And you know hopefully depending on how Far we go there at least go uh you know Because so keep that same kind of Mindset the morale doing it unless you Come again because it's important we Still have you know 12 games and less a Lot to go and uh you know we want to Finish those games on a good middle Foreign

You know we get asleep experience and Kind of bringing what we want to police Come that kind of the mentality of like That winner go home without use that Reach to regain that less You know I think we'll we'll be having That kind of stuff very soon Uh I mean honestly we gotta you know Publish the chance to watch them you Know against Dallas on every other week So Um you know we've kind of seen you know Sort of difficult ways of playing stuff Like that in her practice so uh we've Been doing a lot of work with practices We've been you know hopefully a lot of The results Good morning [Music] Um Go ahead Um Obviously coming back to playing at home That'll that'll be a big key do you feel Like also when you get closer if the if The game is closed do you feel like Getting to a shootout you know maybe get Getting that point to advance do you Feel like you have that obviously you Want to try and win but do you feel like Knowing maybe a point would be enough Just getting to the shootout that you Might play you'll still be aggressive to Try and win but playing for the shootout

At say if there's five or ten minutes Left and you're Todd do you feel like You go into that mentality just so you Can protect that point I must appreciate it Um I mean obviously uh every game uh you Know Spirit we still want to go in and Try to win the game Um especially if that's unstable and Unless well Um you know obviously Be at the same time we'd want to play in Our style I want to play whether you Want to play you want to play good Um But obviously if we do get the shootout Um that gives us that extra chance to You know need to go ahead and obviously Uh for the PKS but our main goal is to Walk there is Um
