Brady Christensen talks about O-line combinations

Christensen discussed building chemistry along the offensive line and getting to know Nash Jensen.

Hey Brady Um How much more comfortable do you feel at Left guard after being playing all last Year there yeah it's been really nice You know my rookie year has kind of Bouncing around all four different Positions so it's been nice to be able To kind of Zone in on one spot but you Know as an offensive lineman you always Gotta pride yourself in being flexible Too so Um but yeah I feel a lot more Comfortable being able to get that this Whole training camp at lifeguard as well The lion played so well together last Year the last half of the Season you've Seen any carry over that this point or I Think I think our big mentality is oh no You know coach rack always talks about Oh no that's kind of you know there's a Lot of ups and downs throughout any Given season or any given week you got To go in oh no every day like we haven't Done anything you know you got to go Prove yourself every day and that's kind Of the mentality that we want to keep Having throughout the season After every play like if there is a port Play that you guys are just able to Reset yeah definitely I mean I hear People talking about it you know on the Field hey oh no reset you know every Play whether you dominate or whether you

Get beat you know it's the same Mentality reset every play One play at a Time and I think it's a great you know Mentality to have in this league for Sure When you guys do give up a sack or Something of that nature what's been the Reaction from Bryce Yeah he's you know He's incredible he's incredible teammate Incredible leader Um he's very calm demeanor and he's just Got a lot of confidence out there so He's the same way you know he's always Reset and you know and he just uh he's Been incredible to work with so far and You know excited to keep going with him Chandler Zavala getting the start sounds Like from coach and a Right Guard again How important is it to keep that Continuity in the preseason now that you Know Corbett's not out just to kind of Keep it all the same as you go towards Week one yeah the cool part about this Training camp is we've had a couple Combinations and so coach camps has done A great job at giving each one of us Reps with different guys so we have that Continuity across the board you know Even even the second team you know with Us And so I I think uh you know we're just Going to continue to grow on that and Continue to get reps with with people

And and that's really what you have to Do as an offensive lineman is and Just Go With It Well you've been taking Mental reps during like the segment 13 Groups what have you seen from Nash Jensen yeah he's been incredible you Know he's very very Savvy player very Smart player played a lot of games you Know in college and so you can tell That's carried over Um I've been very impressed with Nash She's awesome I think he's had some struggles a couple For first couple of games balance and Pressures of sacks what have you noticed From him out there in a way he's handled That yeah I think he's incredible he's Gonna be an incredible player uh I love Playing next to him he's just I can't Speak highly enough of Vicki how he Handles himself you know on the field But off the field you know he's very Mature player Um and I learned a lot from him every Day The spread offense last year you all Were a little bumpy with that things Have got better when you you tightened Up and ran more power running game What's the difference for you guys when You're in that spread as far as the Difficulties of handling that Yeah I think uh with any given offense You just got to find what each player is

Good at and play towards Like each player's strengths and what Offensive line strength we have I feel Like the coaching staff does an Incredible job with that this year and Especially coach Camp you know he really Picks out our strengths and really tries To play and game plan towards those Strengths Experience yeah I mean in The Run game He's very Savvy in the Run game they run The ball trapped him when he was in College and very Savvy in that and then Just like his overall knowledge of Defenses and stuff uh he's just picked Up the offense and defensive structure Uh really quick Wow how is it kind of This draft class and undrafted guys a Lot of them are like fifth and sixth Year college guys and what's that been Like to have dudes coming in who are Like 24 almost 25 years old yeah it Doesn't you know it doesn't feel like They were young or rookies at all you Know they They all came in and I've been very Impressed with how like I said before How fast they've picked up the offense And not a lot of mental errors which is Huge as a rookie so it's been it's been Impressive to watch Can anything that you see Friday or Experience maybe help you or or think

That this team is in a better place than What you thought before Is ask that again So Coach Wright said that nothing Friday Will curb his enthusiasm about the team Can anything that happens Friday maybe Help your outlook on on the season I Mean uh it's preseason we've had this Full training camp to be able to build Kind of who we are and this Friday is Just kind of our last chance so we're All going to want to go out there and Play you know Finish finish blocks do our assignments And really just uh ball out there it's It's another opportunity for all of us And we don't take this lightly you know It's it's not given that we're going to Be here whenever everyone and so I think That's the biggest mentality is is is Treat every day like it's your last and Just go have fun play loose play free And ball out In the preseason it's always very Important whether winning your blocks Winning your one-on-ones it's important To win you know we're competitive people And and that's the attitude we're gonna Go take especially up front is just go When everything possible every block we Can already even Part of this league for a little while Now what's this week like as an Established player with your teammates

You know but you know basically playing For their their careers playing for Their spots on the team As a guy who is established here what What's it like going through that I Guess is it watching your other Teammates kind of have to fight for Their jobs yeah you know it's uh Obviously a very important game for Everyone involved we always have to Remember that this is a game too you got To have fun out there Um playing with your brothers there's Nothing better than playing with your Brothers you know this Friday night but Usually Sundays you know it's just that Would probably be my advice to everyone Included is just go be who you are and Go have fun because that's what it's all About and obviously the wins and then And this success will come just uh you Know that's that's the type of attitude I think we need All right thanks Thank you thank you appreciate it

Charlotte North Carolina – Things to Do and See

Events, Life, Sports, Weather, News

Charlotte is one of those cities that has a lot to offer with all the advantages of being a large metropolitan city. It’s got the skyline photo-worthy vistas, a strong job market that attracts those in finance and other industries, an abundance of family-friendly and fun things to do, and a booming restaurant and brewery scene. It also has a true mix of people, with a few old money families that still dominate local politics and social gatherings along with younger movers and shakers in neighborhoods like NoDa and the booming South End area that’s seen exponential growth thanks to the light rail line running through it.

If you’re an outdoor enthusiast, Charlotte has a lot to offer with 35 miles of greenways and some beautiful parks, as well as the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden that hosts Holidays at the Garden each November through December with over a million lights, festive music and activities. Other popular spots include the Mint Museum of Modern Art, Bechtler Museum of Modern Art and Levine Museum of the New South.

The local food and culture is an interesting mix with Americana ice cream parlors next to hipster-run coffee shops, and traditional southern BBQ alongside high-end sushi restaurants. But Charlotte is largely committed to the beer and wine scene with seemingly hundreds of breweries and excellent vineyards nearby. There’s also a thriving music and arts scene here with shows by bands like the Carolina Chocolate Drops and BLKMRKTCLT, as well as local artists, musicians and writers.
