The city is a hub for business and banking, with major companies such as Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and Fifth Third calling it home. But Charlotte is also a great place to live, with fantastic neighborhoods for families and single professionals alike. The neighborhoods vary from high-rise condos and modern luxury homes in the center of town to renovated Victorian houses on quiet, tree-lined streets.
One of the best things about living in Charlotte is the Southern hospitality that residents enjoy. You’ll hear plenty of “y’all” and “ma’am” as you make your way around the area, and people will be more than happy to chat with you about their favorite things to do in Charlotte.

As the largest city in North Carolina, Charlotte’s residents are extremely proud of their city and are constantly working to improve it.
