The city’s cultural scene is rich and varied. From the internationally renowned Mint Museum of Art to the 9th annual spring South End Wine & Hops Festival, there’s something for everyone.
As a sports town, Charlotte is no stranger to exciting high-profile professional and amateur sporting events. The city hosts multiple NBA, NHL, and NFL teams, as well as the NASCAR Cup Series race.

The Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden’s Holidays at the Garden is a popular annual event that takes place from November through December. Charlotte is a center for business and finance. It’s home to a number of banking companies, including Wells Fargo and Bank of America, as well as numerous automotive manufacturing firms. In addition, the city has nationally ranked healthcare providers in Novant Health and Carolinas Medical Center.
With its booming economy and bustling culture, Charlotte is an excellent place to live and work. It’s also an ideal place for families, with a wide range of neighborhoods that offer a variety of living options. For those who don’t have a car, public transportation is readily available. The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) offers buses, streetcars, and the LYNX Light Rail, making it easy to get around.
