The city of Charlotte, North Carolina is an exciting, refined cosmopolitan metropolis. Its climate is subtropical, which means mild summers, but it also has plenty of outdoor recreation.

The Charlotte Area Transit System, or CATS, is a bus line with over 70 stops throughout the city. This is a good way to avoid rush hour traffic.
Charlotte is a thriving financial center, but it also offers plenty of other activities. It is home to several museums, including the Mint Museum Uptown and the Levine Museum of the New South.
Charlotte is a good place to live for families. A majority of its residents are Catholic or Protestant. There is a large Jewish community in the city, as well.
