Hey it's Ben we're out in California the Weather is beautiful if you know me you Know I like to cook a world on the Street is that there's some orange and Lemon trees let's go I like the blue one blue is my favorite Color This will work Does it come out Yes this is it All right let's do it Oh I spotted the first orange tree He used to play lacrosse To try and get a couple down Here goes nothing One down one to go Got it let's go They've been making some freshly Squeezed orange juice it's incredible Should I try it I remember in first grade Kid named Jack Smith Did it in one peel I'm gonna try and do The same There we go one peel One bite ever knows the rules I'm gonna give this one an eight two [Music] This is solid This is a really good orange Next we're going to the lemon tree Lemons are really good for acidity in Cooking so I might have to try that one Straight up let's go foreign
[Music] Butter Caper sauce Maybe throw in some white wine Especially when I catch fresh fish Put in the butter Put in some salt and pepper maybe And then some Capers and then garnish it With some lemon maybe a little bit of Lemon zest If you're going fancy these are huge I'm getting it Oh no The lemons are harder Try another one Let's see I'm gonna try this one oh Yes finally This is the biggest lemon I've ever seen Four juggles I don't want to go too Crazy All right I'm gonna try the outside Wow That's really good outside is not too Sour It's bitter though I heard there was a lot of nutrients on The outside I'm gonna give this an 8-4 I think this lemon It was just a good overall lemon Very big You know if you're using it for cooking You could use it for a while Um
Has a really nice flavor you can eat it Off the tree too it's not too sour All right scratch that this lemon is Sour don't believe me We've arrived at the Citrus and Chef's Garden Here's some Rosemary but I don't know What this is Let's give it a taste Kind of looks like mint Yep It's mint the only thing I've ever used Were made with mint is iced tea A little bit of Honey a little bit of Mint At the end and then yeah you have your Your iced tea after you put the ice in It so this this Rosemary looks awesome Definitely gonna have to take a little Bit of this home Probably use this for some potatoes put Some chopped up potatoes in the oven With some maybe a little bit of butter Salt Garlic pepper and then some Rosemary Yeah I love putting Rosemary on top of Potatoes I think it goes really well Let's try some Super fragrant Wow that's awesome yeah I'm definitely Taking some of this this is great good Stuff right here quality ingredient Thanks so much for coming on this Adventure I can't wait to get back to
