And if you have a question just use the Raise your hand feature on zoom and I'll Come around to you so we'll start with Willy p Good afternoon Bill how are you good Mate how are you I'm fantastic so uh as You've sat here now I know you got here Right before the start of the Season how Do you feel like and Christians even Reference this how do you feel like You're integrating yourself with the Club uh despite having a bit of an Accelerated timetable to get yourself Ready for uh for this game model Yeah I feel great I feel great coming Into this team Um and obviously I'm I'm learning and I'm I'm learning quick of on you know How on how uh Christian wants to wants His team to play like and uh I'm just I'm just happy and I've joured him very Well to players and uh you know just got To keep working hard each week What has been your relationship with Adilson Malanda I know we talked about The the language connection uh when you First got here the fact that you both Speak French I know his English is Getting better but how is that Relationship developed between the two Of you guys uh it's been going great uh Dale is uh you know is a great great Young player and um you know he's doing Very well each week and in game times as
Well so and again like you said we you Know we both speak French and his English is pretty pretty good actually As well so Um other than that overall it's going Very well very well we're talking a lot And communicating and we're just putting In the work each week and then on game Day I'll defer to my partner Jessica Sherman because she always as a former Goalkeeper talks about how any time you Change a back line it can create issues And you guys have had a lot of Shifting Fullbacks goalkeepers and that uh you And uh deal have kind of been the lone Stalwarts but but what has it been like To kind of have a lot of interchangeable Parts over the course of these first aid Contests Uh look yeah it's um like you said we Have been uh changing uh goalkeepers and You know guys in different positions but You know that's that's football and That's what um you know the the geffo Wants and if the gaffer wants that then We gotta Adept and uh and you know Communicate well and make sure the Players are all in sync and uh get the Job done And last one for me it seems that from The defensive standpoint you guys have Large moments where things are great and Then there's just some individual errors That unfortunately have uh maybe I guess
Kept you guys from getting the results You wanted how do you feel like number One you limit those and number two if That's a correct overall assessment of The way that the defense is played Overall Uh yeah we uh you know we like I said we Gotta you know work work hard in each on Each week and review what the mistakes That we've uh We've made uh collectively And individually and uh you know I'm Gonna put into hard work into you know And training to put you know prevent That on in game day and uh each week Like I said we're working hard and we're Working hard on ourselves individually And as a team as well so yeah it's going Good Cheers Bill thank you yeah thanks will Uh let's go to Caleb Go to Bill how are you doing good my how Are you Um I love the New Zealand for a little Bit so I know a little bit Sweet as all that stuff yeah uh anyways I wanted to ask you a bit about your Initial impressions of the Charlotte Fans the environment the stadium Um and how that's been so far for you Early on uh the Charlotte fans have been Amazing Um electrifying for sure Um they they're the top player in in the Stadium with us and they deserve they
Deserve uh you know the three points and That's what we're aiming for uh for this Weekend and we're so focused on what we Needed to work on and what uh what we Needed to improve on and I feel like the You know the fans deserve a very good Win this weekend and uh we are you know We all um prepared for that and to uh Give them the three points and also ask The three points as well sweet and uh Following up on that uh more so talking About Columbus themselves Columbus have Sort of established themselves as one of The better teams in the league they have A particularly scary attack Um what do you guys see from Columbus And how do you plan to approaches game Yeah uh Columbus play uh like a three Five at the back and uh they've got They've got some uh individual players Who can make a difference for them and Um you know like the number nine the Number 10 and you know nagbee in the Middle uh being the solid uh Midfield And uh you know we've been watching them And uh you know we're gonna we've been Doing the hard work on the pitch on how We can you know stop them and how we can Penetrate them and uh attacking guys so Yeah Great that's it for me thank you All right let's begin Thank you Hey Bill how you doing good good I
Wanted to kind of expand on something That will last he talked about just Gelling as a as a back line and kind of You know you said you had to put in the The work but what is that work like how Did how did you get that that whole Group to be able to be communicating and Doing things it doesn't mean you all do More things outside of practice together To kind of help you all kind of think Together and be together like what kind Of things are you doing as a as a leader Out there yeah like I said in uh we're Putting the work in training uh the Defensive side that we do and training To that's what we that's where we're Putting into hard work and communicating To each other me communicating to a deal Me communicating to a lift back and the Deal communicating to the right back and Also communicating to our midfielders Because we they don't see uh what's Behind him we we see them we see what's Behind him and we gelling it down to you Know putting in that work and Communication is key in the in every Game because if you go if you don't talk No one knows what to do now so but That's been one of the key things that We need to work on is uh is Communicating and pushing our guys uh You know to to keep moving and to get Get into spaces where you know they can Get a ball or they can defend uh
Defender pass Does it I want to follow up and that Does it make it more difficult in that Now that uh the the outside backs are Basically pushing up even more so then You're you and um Adelson are in the in The middle more and kind of just you're You're holding more of the whole Defensive line no it doesn't matter Because it doesn't make it difficult Um you know we're confident on on how we Want to play and if the fullbacks go Inside that's okay because we can you Know we find an outlet to our Wingers And uh no I don't think it's difficult All right thank you yep all right thanks Nick Um last call is anyone on here one Brian Or Tony or Steve Cool all right we'll end it there Bill Thanks for your time thanks everyone for Your time we'll get these assets out to You soon and we'll have a time confirmed For latonzio on Friday thanks everyone Cheers guys thanks Bill Have a good
