So Sunday we we saw uh Jonathan dro the Pass and then you went right back to him And got a big play I'm just curious how Much has he grown uh just from from the An offensive perspective from a teammate Perspective since you guys got here Together yeah oh sorry I didn't mean to Cut you off but uh yeah M does a great Job of of you just see he's getting more And more comfortable with the offense um Obviously all the talent is there um you Know he's put in a tremendous amount of Work this year and obviously up to this Point I'm just leading up to it um you Know great great guy great competitor And he works hard in practice and I Think really it's just you know we're Just starting to see them be more Comfortable um you know obviously when You first get in you're learning a new System and you know we're all trying to Fill stuff out you know obviously I'm I'm I'm a rookie too I'm we're both in The same shoes of trying to fill stuff Out and um you know and figure things Out and then get that comfortable in the Offense and I think um you know I think The the ability is always always been There and I know he's he's dedicated Continue to grow and getting better um But it's exciting just to see him get More and more comfortable in offense is It cool to kind of grow together as the Quarterback and the wide receiver yeah
For sure um you know obviously we we Have a lot of similar perspectives on Things um you know again we're both in This Together of just uh being a rookie Just being our first year growing um in The system together um so yeah it's Definitely really cool understanding how Level you like to maintain what's film Study like after a win compared to after Like how how nice is it to to see kind Of the results of of the work yeah um You know we have the same approach uh Going in on you know starting Monday and Then throughout the week um that's Something that we've talked about um Every week um you know we talked about Making sure we were the same um on Mondays you know good or bad um with the Results so um I mean of course you know It's always better coaching off a win um It it it's it's great but at the same Time you know every Monday and then Every you know whenever we're watching The film back um it's about corrections And seeing what we can do better um and Then seeing the stuff that we that we Did well and then uh how we can build Off of it but um just finding ways to Get better uh coach coach Reich talks About all the time just being obsessed With with getting better and um you know Of course um you know it's it's always You'd always like to do that after a win Um but as far as you know the process
What we do um it it looks the same I see There was the six sacks I mean you get The win you know Sunday but you had the Sacks and what can this team do Better I guess to give you more time Like the whole chemistry of the offense What do you see has to has to get better Yeah um you know sacks are it's always One of those um one of those stats that You know don't always tell the whole Truth um you know whenever you see However many sacks you automatically Think of all right well how how good is You know what is the line doing or not Doing um some of those sacks are are on Me I could do a better job of getting The ball out moving uh throughout the Pocket um some of them are covery sacks Um and you know again that's just me Making sure I can do a better job of Getting through getting through reads Getting through progressions uh checking The ball down when necessary whatever it May be getting the ball in my hands Avoiding that um you know you know but Sometimes you know just need to throw The ball away um do a better job at that Um so you know I think we all you know We all take ownership in it um you know One thing that you know one of the Things I love about this team is you Know we all look in the mirror the Players and coaches you know we're all Looking at ways to to try to improve on
That but it it starts with me there's a Lot of stuff um on Sunday that I could Have done better at um I I have a role In that um definitely and you know There's a lot of things that I can do Again um throwing the ball away gain Through reach quicker whatever it may be Um so you know we we all just try to Find way individually to get better um And to make sure that you know we can Try to try to lower that number in the Future we saw the Embrace after the win Between you and Thomas Brown's first Ingame play calling experience with you How would you describe or what stood out From that first game with him yeah um You know for for him to be this to be His first game again you you never you Never think that by the Poise that he Had um his ability to um again just just Be poised be even killed as a play Caller um you know dial a lot of really Really great stuff up uh for us at gave Us some really good opportunities and Then the ability to adapt and adjust um On the Fly um you know every you know I Think you know us I think every team Would say you know you have a game plan And you have an idea of how you want the Game to go when you walk in and then you Know of course there's going to be you Know there's going to be curve balls You're going to have to adjust and just How well he adapted He adjusted to the
Flow of the game um you know it was you Know whatever you know you always going To have to deviate from from the game Plan you know you want to have the exact You know you want to have every call Scripted and know what's going to happen But you know obviously there's going to Be curve balls Um he didn't Flinch you know he was he Was always ready with the next call he Was able to adjust and adapt um and Change the game plan um to to what gave Us the best uh chance to to be Successful um you know after every Series and you know that again mixes the Demeanor the leadership that he had uh With me with everyone on the on the Offense on the sideline um you know it Was um it it was it was really great to Work with him I'm super excited going Forward just getting that first win give You I mean kind of like the monkey off The back thing you know give confidence Moved forward that listen you know maybe This can start turning around yeah um You know I definitely feel like you know It for sure it breeds confidence just You know you you have something to work Off of you know you can you have the Experience of of of getting a win but You know I think for for myself for us You know it's we we always take a week By- week approach um you know we've Talked about all the time regardless of
Um what's happened in the past um we Have to make sure that we can erase that And move forward so um you know probably From outside looking in or other People's perspectives there might have Felt like this huge pressure this huge Um you know this this this huge emphasis Of of winning a game and you know for us Again it was it was just trying to take A day by day attacking the week um so You know it it's great of course um you Know again obviously we know wins aren't You know you never take that for granted It's hard to come across wins in this League um you know you have to have to Ear them but again we understand now um You know it's great it was it was a Great experience on Sunday but you know That was last Sunday um that's not going To entitle us to anything this week or Anything moving forward um and you know For us again we were taking things week By week as it was and we have to Continue to do that um and you know we Have a have a challenge ahead of us we Have to make sure we're we're doing Everything throughout the week to give Us the best chance to um and and put us In the best circumstance to to have Chance of success on Sunday so really That's where all our focus is how we Celebrate um just in the locker room With the guys um uh you know again being In the locker room after wi is a lot
More lot more fun um so Um you know really was you know Celebrating in the locker room with the Guys Um didn't do anything different after That um but it was just great to be able To share those moment that moment with With my teammates and then after that um You know rest of night was the same it Was didn't normal didn't didn't do Anything and then again right when when Monday comes around we're back here back To work and you know all that you know All that joy and all that again it's Great but it's in the past at that point Except this Monday you had a Halloween Party so you want talking about your uh Your Halloween outfit and the party yeah Um shout out shout out to Bose um great Event um for his for his foundation um So that was really fun um you know a lot Of the team was was there uh but yeah I Was I was Nelly So were you surprised by the were you Surprised by the social media reaction a Lot of people like around like their 20s Like mid late 20s or mid to early 20s Didn't know who Nelly was they were like Who is Ry yeah yeah it was crazy to hear That like a lot of people are like What's Bryce doing it's like if you not See people didn't I'm not going to lie I'm not on social media really so really People didn't know a couple yeah I saw
Like some replies that were like what is He doing better than that really well as A spokesperson for I guess for 20-year-old people At I feel like I don't feel like that Reflects all of us I like to think we i' Like to a lot of people when I got there I I got a couple questions I think a lot Of people got it like I had the white Forces on like feel like a lot of people Got it the band everyone was like oh the Band-Aid like if I have the Band-Aid I Guess I could be a couple people but Everyone saw the Band-Aid was like oh Yeah like that wasn't my Exple yeah what' you say why was that The choice uh full transparency uh it Was very last minute Um I I'm bad really bad at planning um So I knew about the party for a while And I was like I don't know what I'm Going to be something's going to pop up And couple hours a couple hours actually Before the party I still looking for Something and uh I was yeah luckily I Was here where they had a uh I was able To supply a lot of it um from from the Training room which was great um so full Transparency that that's kind of where It came from R from from from from an Outside looking in perspective it seems Like you're getting a little bit more Comfortable with off the off schedule Throws we obviously saw that a lot in
College is that based on the defenses You're seeing was that a coaching point Over the last couple of weeks or is that Just genuine like Comfort level level Yeah I think it's just just um it's just How a couple plays have played out and You know from what the defense is given You know I never like we never have we Don't you know plan on on escaping or Leaving the pocket or getting you know Getting outside um it's all of a Reactionary type of thing um so I I Think it's just been the opportunity Just been there a couple more um just Hit a couple more which been um you know Which has been been fortunate um but It's never my mindset to go and go and Leave the pocket or go and do something Off schedule um you know each play you Know you have re you have where where You want the ball to go and then how you React from that um and then obviously After that out you know after the ball Snap you know you have to play football And sometimes it doesn't go as as clean And you have to move so it's nothing Really that's planned I guess it's just Been um the the opportunities just Happen to come up a couple more times Recently are you are are you feeling More comfortable are you maybe trusting Your in your instincts more Um yeah I think definitely uh just Comfortability um you know and again
That that goes with that really comes From from the coaching um just the more Time I get to spend the system more time Get to be around coach Reich TV um Josh Uh Parks everyone in the room um just The more comfortability and um I getting Along with with reps practic and game Reps so uh yeah definitely you know feel More comfortable than you know first guy Here beginning of the year you know keep Keep growing but you know obviously have To I want to keep continue to build Continue to grow in that as well what Are you seeing from that Colts defense As you're looking at take on them yeah Really good unit uh very well coached um You could tell very disciplined a lot of Savvy players um you know a lot of Players that have played a good amount Of football um again you could tell that They they know the system uh they Understand things really well um really Aggressive with with getting the ball Out um you know with with with uh Forcing turnovers um you know aggressive With with trying to punch at the ball And get things out um but you know it's It's a really good defense good players Um again for us we we know it's going to Be a challenge so the you know Throughout the week we have to make sure That you know we could do everything we Can um you know push ourselves um Throughout practice um so we can give
