Weather
The climate in Charlotte is characterized by pleasant summers and mild winters. The best time of year to visit for beach/pool activities is from mid June to early September, when the temperature is warm but not too hot. The muggier period of the year lasts for 4.2 months from May to September, when humidity is at its worst. The rest of the year is fairly clear, with a few cloudy days scattered throughout the year.
