Charlotte is an amazing city with a lot of events happening every year. There are plenty of festivals to attend, one off events and neighborhood block parties that are always a blast! Whether you’re looking for something to do with the family or just want a night out on the town, there is something for everyone in Charlotte.

Life

Charlotte offers a laid back and chill feel to the city. People often stick to themselves and their small groups of friends and this can make for a great atmosphere in the city.

Sports

There are several professional sporting teams in Charlotte including the Carolina Panthers and the Charlotte Hornets both of which have huge fan bases. The city also hosts some of the biggest NASCAR races in the world as well as the Coca-Cola 600 and the Wells Fargo Championship golf tournament.

There is a large number of newspapers and magazines in Charlotte as well as many different TV and radio stations. The local newspaper is called The Charlotte Observer and it has many local and national news articles as well as sports coverage.

The city has a large number of museums with plenty of options for both art lovers and history buffs. Those with a passion for music will find the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame to be a highlight. Visitors can learn about the musical heritage of the state as well as the instruments and costumes of their favorite musicians. The Museum of the Alphabet is another popular spot to visit for a unique cultural experience.
