Well it's funny we're standing in front Of the ihart radio thing and Um we were from Asheville and so um IH Heart radio was our only Lifeline for 2 Weeks I mean that was the only Communication we had so that's one Reason why we got the photo up and it Was just hard to see our town just Destroyed it's just I mean the entire Neighborhoods are gone and it's just Heartbreaking to see we live at the lake And the lake is it looks like a bomb Went off in it and it looks like our our Little town of Chimney Rock is just gone So the this concert I hope that it goes All the way across Western North Carolina and help all the people that Lost their homes and their businesses And that's why we're here oh I think it Gives hope I think that there's so much Light in music and healing in music and So when we come here I think we are all At the same time while we're morning We're celebrating the fact that we are So strong and resilient and we can just Come here and uh grieve with everyone But also support them um by all of the Donations that are being given it's just A way to give back and make them feel Like they're appreciated and loved we've Been pleasantly surprised that people Have heard the message people have Brought canned goods um people have been Doing like small food drives in their
Neighborhood so it's been really great To see the turnout from folks [Music] Everyone loves these artists they're Great and the fact that they're this Could be a million million million Dollar so and they're taking all that And put fors the community they came From and grew up in was great aome I Think North Carolina inspired a lot of This music these people being from North Carolina so they or in the Carolinas we're from Davey County it's Close to Winston like who are you here For actually Luke Liley baile man
