There’s always something to do in Charlotte. The city is home to a mix of big-name and locally-owned shops, restaurants, and attractions. From heated rivalries to chart-topping entertainers, there’s always something to keep Charlotte residents entertained!
The city is also perfectly positioned between the mountains and beach, making it easy to escape for a day of skiing or a weekend at the ocean.
But, perhaps one of the best things about moving to Charlotte is that it’s a very affordable city to live in. And, if you’re a college student, there are plenty of scholarships and grants available to help you afford living in the Queen City! Plus, the job market is competitive but not crazy like many other cities. Glassdoor recently ranked Charlotte as the #24 best place for jobs in America. Whether you’re looking for banking jobs or human resource jobs, there’s no shortage of opportunities here.
