To welcome you back to Carolina we were Able to dig up some memorabilia from the 1995 season which you were the starting Quarterback for the first game ever in Panthers history so we're gonna take a Little walk down memory lane and we are Starting with this spotting board from The very first game from Bill rosinski The play-by-play announcer at the time And there you are right there yeah this Is we played in Atlanta the very first Game went to overtime I remember with The first two drives we went we went Down through a touchdown pass to Pete Metzler's right there an old teammate Played with him in Buffalo as well In Carolina Panthers franchise history Willie Green I threw a touchdown Pastor Willie gray you know Willie Green was Such a good receiver I'm looking at These names these guys are all cooked I'm Bibi he's coaching football Emerson Martin coaching football it's pretty Cool Jack Trudeau care of course Carrie We all knew Carrie was going to be a Superstar you know we drew he was the Fifth pick in the draft so Bob Christian Grateful back Mark carriers coaching Football what good memories I love to See you know they all play-by-play Announcers will make their notes and so He's got Frank greg64 210 I'm not 210 Anymore I'm not too I wish I was too Tight

Maryland it's just it's so neat to see This but we've got more so it's a 1995. I'll tell you what was such a Unique experience you know I've been Around this game my whole life but it's A Once truly a once in a lifetime when You got an inaugural season right like This is the first season in the team's History like we got to see I had a Chance to see what it looks like to put A team together you know Bill polian is The general manager Dom Capers as my First head coach all those players that Just kind of came together and formed This team in that 1995 season we had a Special buy oh and you have experience With with Sam Mills who means so much to So many people yeah I mean just what a Great leader what a great football Player human being lives in Panther Football history when you look at this You talk about being part of the first Season did you ever think in your Wildest dreams I'll be coaching this Team one day no I always did want to Coach but that Vision never came to pass But uh all the more reason I'm that much More excited yeah okay how about this Figure Oh this is funny now because I remember When this came out you know my whole Career I was a backup quarterback right So uh in Buffalo for all those years we Had those Super Bowl run of four you

Know playing behind Jim Kelly so when I Came to the Panthers and was the Starting quarterback that was a big deal For me and our family and I got my first Figurine this was like this was my 11th Year in league and this helmet thing That came off you know it's pretty cool My children used to have fun with that Right I mean yeah we had a few of those Laying around the house as you can Imagine there's a few photos in in this Album right here I haven't looked at These I mean oh this looks like training Camp I'll tell you what right right There this this training camp in Spartanburg I've been around football For 30 some years By far there's nothing ever close the Hottest training camp I've ever been a Part of that I've got news for you it's Still hot though But it's the best it's the best that'll Get us in shape and that was a cool Thing you know uh this picture here I Had spent 10 years playing for the bills And in our first year that inaugural Season we played in Buffalo so that was That was a cool experience going back in There but yeah some good memories here Always loved looking back at old Pictures Derek Moore I think that's Derek Moore man he was a tough running Back uh really good friend so yeah good Stuff

Our last piece of memorabilia is not From the Panthers archives it's it's From your daughter Hannah she had this Right is this uh Yeah I don't know I don't think this is The real thing you know I'm not sure Where she got it but it doesn't feel Familiar to you no it doesn't feel Familiar but uh that's one of the great Things about the NFL you know when you Drive up to a game And you look out and you see fans all Over the place and they're all wearing Jerseys and as even as a coach to this Day I still enjoy looking out on the bus Or as I'm driving in a car seeing who's Wearing what jersey and so Um well it's nice that my daughter maybe She's too embarrassed to wear it but Maybe I can get her to wear we don't Know yet maybe yeah I will see her at a Game with that on well thank you so much For for letting us take this walk down Memory lane I hope it was fun for you That was a blast thank you

The City of Charlotte, North Carolina

Charlotte is a metropolis and one of the largest cities in North Carolina. It is located east of the Catawba River in the south-central part of the state. The city has the reputation of being a warm weather oasis with a mild climate.

Charlotte is also known for its nightlife. There is a lively dining scene, a vibrant local brewery and a variety of entertainment options. A number of festivals are held throughout the year. One example is the Latin American Festival, which offers a day of cultural activities. Another is the Festival in the Park, which takes place in Freedom Park in the fall.

Charlotte has two congressional districts. The southern half of the city is in the 12th District, and the northern half is in the 14th District.

Throughout the years, Charlotte has hosted several national events. In 2008, the National Basketball Association’s Charlotte Hornets played in Charlotte, and the city is home to NASCAR. During the War Between States, the Confederate Navy Yard opened in Charlotte, and the area became a center of manufacturing for the munitions industry.

Charlotte is a diversified industrial hub, with factories that produce chemicals, wool goods and gunpowder. Banking is an important part of the economy, with the Bank of America and Wachovia Bank headquartered in the city.

Charlotte is the center of a number of major colleges. King’s College and Queens College were both chartered in Charlotte, and the University of North Carolina has a branch here. Other institutions include Central Piedmont Community College and Johnson C. Smith University.
