Thank you for doing this appreciate Let's do it so obviously you got a lot Going on a lot of injuries at outside Linebacker a lot of injuries at inside Linebacker you have an injury like What's this week been like for you I Mean you know it this league man it's Hard to stay healthy um you know play a Violent sport physical sport um just Pretty much take it day day by day we Got a lot of injuries right now man uh I Can say for myself I'm playing um Whether I'm on the ball off the ball Wherever they using me at I'll be Playing so as far as the guys you know On defense uh specifically that you know Um that's optional or might be Questionable I can't speak for them but Yeah that's where we at would you Uh would it be kind of like a cameo Outside for you uh you know beside a Place where you could line up for 50 or 60 snaps outside or do you think you'd Be more inside and then well you know Going through the game plan he likes to Move me around so I might be on the line Might be off the ball um like I said Wherever I could I mean I'm comfortable With both spots you know and and Plugging in for guys that's not going to Be there and whoever's playing whoever's Not so just go off with uh coach and Whatever he calls what's it been like to You guys I mean so many injuries
Especially on the back side Al having to Adjust each week game by game sometimes In game what's that been like for you Guys your grou I mean of of course it's You know it's sad to see you know a lot Of guys that especially you know veteran Guys like that's not back there and Having them set my set of OD but we Always have coaching the young guys up You know next man up mentality and Having them to come on the field and Having that confidence that communicate With us um like I said I can't control What injuries and everything as far as Everybody else and just focus what I can Do and also help this team you're so Close to a lot of these guys that are Injured like how does that I mean I know You can't control it but does that kind Of weigh on you uh no I don't you know Cuz I to be honest with me myself man I'm I handle I can take it um and I I Know the guys got my back to you know to 100 how have they been with Communicating with them being out oh Yeah perfect good they've been excellent Uh communicating man uh we got DJ up There see what he can do got Eko coming Up outside backer um and just a couple Of young guys in the back you know ex Taking care of them so I mean it's going To take all 11 know us to communicate Either you just got on a team or youve Been on here since training camp so the
Standard is going to remain the same and We're going to show up Frankie is the Trade deadline part of the schedule how Is it make guys Uneasy um especially when you're hearing You know some of your friends and Teammates mention how how do guys kind Of handle that uh I really haven't been Looking into to you know the trade Deadline and everything as far as guys That's thinking about it and I'm Whatever decision they make man I'm all For it and I would support them too you Know 100 as a brother so as a family and Uh yeah so whatever they got man they Got going on I support Them you they're they're going to honor Julius Peppers at halftime have you had Any interaction with him and just kind Of uh as a defensive player I'm sure You've known about him for years I Definitely want to introduce myself to You know one of the goats uh and you Know know just be in his presence and Kind of like get that good luck before The game or something like that uh Heading into the game on Sunday but man Um hell of a career man hell of a Athlete and I respect him and um man Looking forward hopefully I can see him You've been a guy who's been somewhere Else and then sign here before sometimes Guys when they sign contracts they don't Get off till like the freshest start
Until they're comfortable what advice do You give to to other players who are Kind of in a new situation and trying to Adapt to this um just play that next Play like it's your last play uh and Also make the most out of your Opportunities I didn't get much Opportunities when I first got here kind Of look into special teams and Everything like that um but I had my Mindset coming in was more than special Team player um you know kind of backing Up ass sign that year and and kind of Had a splash play here and there but my Biggest advice was just you know know Your position as much as you know the Offense and offense vice versa on Defense and um just using the most of Your opportunities yeah any more Frankie All right thanks Frankie appreciate it
