I did not expect this to be my dream job But it ended up being I really loved driving this bus Um it makes me feel more shallowed while I'm driving this bus my name is Ruby Massey Crosby I am a bus operator I have Been working with cats for 42 years [Music] Hi good afternoon welcome to cats the First big vehicle I ever drove was a bus I came from a little Pinto coming out of College To a big old bus so it was scary at First well this is a smooth riding bus Is one of our lately newly feature the Electric bus where you don't have to Have no gas It runs very smooth We have came a long ways Considering the right side buses all the Way up to non-electric oh my goodness Isn't that a good Good change For the better You name it every bus that cats have Operated I have drove I'm about to enter The bus and for the safety of everyone You take your time watch look around for No debris so you won't trip or anything I will tell anybody this is a great job It always helping great cats is a very Nice job and it's always going to be a Good job because it got good benefits You meet good people but I chose this
Places because I kept having a family And I needed coverage which was health Insurance okay this is a pre-trip card And you write your name in the bus Number and all these different things You're supposed to check for your bus And check them off as you go I go around I check my lights I also count the loves on my tires last But not least this is my last time I Kick it I count it walk back from it and Then I do an overall look you have to be A people person what you mean about that Ruby what I mean about that being a People person is that you help me you Meet people from all walks of life my Job support the city show by moving and Taking people from place to place with a Good sound mind with safety this one has Become my dream job because of the Benefits and the different personality And the way they have extended different Service let me see a whole shower area
