For your first hand in Spartanburg have You reached out to anyone for advice so What have they said about what to expect Yeah I was just talking to some of the Guys who've been here in the cafeteria It's going to be hot it's gonna be humid But I'm from Florida so I spent most of My time this offseason season in Jacksonville so used to it somewhat but It'll be fun We had an operation Yeah week one last year I had an Adductor tear and a hernia I played with It the whole season I got it fixed in February after we lost the AFC Championship game but I'm 100 ready to Roll there's a lot of expectations Tight end position for the van it's been A long time since we've seen a lot of Production there yeah how do you kind of Filter that or what's your mindset with That I love it I've this is the Opportunity that I've always asked for I Prepared this off season like the ball Is going to come my way a lot so I'm in The best shape of my life it's just Going to take it a day at a time try to Get through camp and then uh we'll cross That bridge when we get to it the season Comes how would you describe tight ends Usage and role in Frank and Thomas's Audience yeah I mean you see Frank's Track record with tight ends you know With with artsy you know Antonio Gates

What Ebron did with him in Indy there's A lot of emphasis put on that position It's a good group of guys that we have In our room so and I think I think it's going to be a really really Fun year and a lot of expectations Obviously but you know we love that in Our room Very intelligent he's very composed for A 21 year old kid you know He commands The Huddle and like I said when you have The confidence and the intelligence at The quarterback position it's kind of Infectious you know obviously he's going To be on top of his stuff so I'm sure You know he expects us to be on top of Our stuff as well They're kind of experiencing something Like this for the first time to switch How much have you played a role in like Kind of helping them in the position Room that's what you got in here yeah I Don't know I don't know I mean obviously I'm the older guys because you're six For me it's new for me too you know this Is again year six this will be the sixth Offense that I've had to learn in the NFL so I'm kind of used to that at this Point Um you know I can obviously offer my Advice but you know those guys in that Room are intelligent they've also been In the NFL for a long time very skilled Position group as well you know I can

Offer a little bit of my experience you Know from the places that I've been but Like I said it's a pretty good group and I'm ready to roll with those guys from a Learning standpoint is there an Advantage of that six and six like You've been exposed constantly to Different offenses just helps with the Anxiety you know when you come into a New system you Get a little freaked out having to learn Stuff and you know not you don't want to Mess stuff up but It's all part of the process you know I Know there's stuff that comes with it When you go through walkthroughs and you Know the first week you're going to mess Stuff up but like I said I've done it Six times now it's nothing new to me Having been around Frank and this staff Now for several months and in the locker Room how does this place in this Situation sort of compare or contrast to Somebody It's a great organization Um obviously a lot of history here at The franchise a lot of success Frank you Know from where he's been Thomas with Where he's been they're bringing a lot Of different you know folds to the Offense so to speak kind of merging two Systems with you know Thomas and Frank Titan Centric Run game so I'm just Excited to be a part of it

Price is going to expand Sound like Just kind of lead by example you know He's not I don't think he's going to be The raw raw screamer type of kid Um He's he's going to go about his business A certain way kind of like last year you Know when I was with Joe Um he's not in your face he's not Screaming it's just he's in the he's in There watching film every day you know And it just makes you makes you want to Be on top of your game because you don't Want to let guys like that down because You know they're going to come to Practice every single day Monday Tuesday Wednesday day six of camp it doesn't Matter they're going to be on top of Their stuff so you better be on top of Yours as well Any story behind your shirt there Not really this went with the blue today Obviously you know new team got to go With Carolina blue man got had to bust It out Of the the fantasy Telethon thing go for You guys in your foundation it was Really good Um you know anytime where I can get up On a platform and speak about mental Health and kind of share my story and Help people you know that's that's part Of who I am um obviously you know being

The football player is one thing but at The end of the day you know I've been Through stuff too and I'm a normal Person and I just try to articulate that To people Do you like that Um I haven't done it since college but I Understand the thought process behind it You know it's obviously good to get away And just immerse yourself in football I Think it's good for everybody especially New team new system get away from Distractions get here just fully dive Into football so I think it'll be good For our team I feel like I'm a freshman just my Parents aren't here to help me move in Um you know I got my stuff all moved in Earlier it's a really nice storm you Know they have it set up for us you know Obviously have to bring your own stuff And put your own personal spin on your Room but it'll be fun what is your Personal spin is there one item that you Just had to bring well apparently I'm Pretty underprepared so I got to go I'll Hit up a Target or something we'll see Gotta get gotta get a box fan maybe a Mattress pad something like that but you Know we'll be so tired from working Through the day I don't think it'll Really matter Eden everyone's been pulling up with Their cars today who do you think has

The best whip on the team Um Well I didn't drive it today but I think I would say me I just bought the uh the Escalade V and it's kind of my baby but I didn't want to drive it on the Interstate it's back in Charlotte but I'll be driving it on Game Day game day Only I I didn't touch it I mean I it's a Pretty nice car I didn't want to do Anything to it mess with it too much but It'll be fun that's my baby With John Lilly been live In life he's awesome man you know he's Uh He's a really professional guy you know He's not again he's not a screamer he's Not in your face he's more of that new Age coach but again that doesn't mean He's not going to get on you about stuff It's more of just he expects you to come To the come to the field a certain way Every day be prepared because he is too Um I think that's more of kind of what The NFL is trending towards you know You're getting away from that old school Kind of screaming stuff more guys just You know you're a professional you're Here for a reason if you're not prepared You know it's on to the next guy We all good All right thank you cool appreciate you Guys

Charlotte North Carolina Offers Plenty of Things to Do

Events, Life, Sports, Weather, News

As one of the nation’s fastest-growing cities, Charlotte has a lot to offer new residents. It boasts a strong job market (especially in the financial sector), a beautiful city center, and a surplus of fun activities for kids and adults. Niche gives the city an above average rating for its public schools, and its swanky downtown amenities make it a desirable place to live for young professionals.

The city’s booming banking industry has made it a hub for the financial world. It is home to the Bank of America and many other Fortune 500 companies, including Duke Energy and Nucor. The area is also known for its popular NASCAR races.

From film festivals and porch fests to performing arts showcases and food and wine weeks, the city offers plenty of chances to celebrate. It is also a beer lover’s paradise, with more than 18 breweries and many spots that serve brunch as well as drinks. Try the complex German-style brews at Olde Mecklenburg Brewery, or sample unique beers at Heist Brewery and Birdsong Brewery.

The Charlotte region’s humid subtropical climate means summers are hot and muggy, spring and fall are mild, and winters are chilly and damp. The city’s inland location also shields it from the brunt of hurricanes that make landfall along the coast. However, it does see some snowfall every year. Average rainfall in the city is 43.1 inches per year. The wet season lasts from March to May, and the dry season runs from November to February.
