Yeah miles is a great running back you Know he got a lot of a lot of the Intangibles you know he's very Well-rounded you know it can obviously Cash passes out uh do some damage at the Backfield too but also runs behind his Pads you know got all the Finesse all The power to him so definitely agree all Around back and society's with us this Year Sorry I got late today How is Chandler kind of handling this Transition so far yeah he's been great He's been great you know asking all the Right questions always locked in in Meetings Um you know never scared to go talk to a Vet and ask you know something if he Needs to know something so he's picking A well too you know we got a great Rookie class that came into the online Room ready to work you know excited to Work and kind of just learn as they go So definitely excited for those guys too Brady was saying the camping teaches a Lot of technique that's like kind of Universal to the entire line which helps Kind of guys move around Um why do you think that's so helpful Like kind of In the Heat of like the Summer and guys eating rest and watching Out for injuries well I think focus on Little things now fundamentals you know Stuff like bass and stance you know all
The way from the ground up I think it's Really important you know during this Time so that when we get to Times what's A little bit more stressful not as Controlled you know you already have That that Foundation you know definitely Good you know definitely get some great Work in on the fundamentals and the Basics Obviously you don't want to get too in Depth but have you seen a change a Little bit in the blocking scheme Between the new coaching staff even with The carryover of camping it's hard to Say a change you know um like I say you Know focus on the little thing it's a Big emphasis this year you know making Sure you know getting off on that Cadence making sure our foot's in the Ground all the little details and they Want to just really just build off last Year you know we got the Run game going A little bit later so kind of build off That or find a pass game you know just Make sure that this team goes with the Olan Bryce obviously has a different Cadence Than Andy then bat how do those three Compare and how does it compare to other Quarterbacks he played with sure I mean They all got great cadences you know They all got some basic new boards which Is always helpful you know for the loud Environment stuff like that so you know
They've been doing a great job with that Sort of thing This last year went on You thought you really were able to Build some momentum coming in this year Uh shoot I mean really just something I Worked on this whole off season Um I'll start again a little bit more Comfortable in my set as the season Started going on later on and um and I Kind of just watched that film from Later in the season and just pick the Little things here and there but stuff I Wanted to refine to off season I'm Obviously talking with Teemo talking With Cam talking with Coach camping and Coos everyone just kind of just all on The same page of what I want to work on Just kind of just you know getting right Getting better how does that kind of Foundation help you this off season Compared to last offseason where you Hadn't had it professionally yeah it was Great I mean obviously I had a lot more Time at stop saying it's my full uh First full-off season so with that time Come you know a lot of time to prepare a Lot of time to refine your skills get Better and also learn the Playbook a lot More too so definitely decided you know This this time frame was definitely good For me Feel like physically or you've gotten Stronger this all season in the last all
Season just yeah no doubt no doubt just Focus on the football stuff you know Last year with the draft and combine and Stuff you want to do like combine drills Which isn't necessarily football a lot Of the time so having a flop sitting Dedicated just to my craft you know it's Definitely helped me a lot do you think You still run the 40 as fast this year Faster I own it faster so yeah watch the Film I'm supposed to run it faster the Second time but I got called back so I'm Gonna leave it up to the cost committee But yeah I can definitely I can still go Okay What are your plans in the interim Between mini camp and training I'll be up in Dallas for a little bit Against my online training then you know Get all the online Mods together in one Room definitely going to take advantage Of that as much as I can and you know Guys like you know Tyron Smith and cam Urban going to be there Tim is going to Be there so definitely excited to kind Of you know buy some ideas off those Guys and just you know get better as a Unit tell me more about that just kind Of what what all we all do there um how Long are you going to be there just Uh yeah so I'll be there for a couple Weeks um really the the biggest thing is The summit they have where they bring You know some Hall of Famers in there
Um you know I was out there Willie Anderson was there last year Steve Hutchison guys in the Hall of Fame that Played a position at a really high level There and basically their job is it's All about just knowledge you know Getting young guys out to me come in as A rookie last year you know I had a Notebook both days just ready to go take It soaking up as much knowledge as I can Um so it's all about just sharing notes Sharing knowledge about each other Sharing stuff about the game mindset Telling stories you know just enjoying You know the presence of being with guys That think like you how did you get Connected with Duke and how much of an Asset has he kind of been in your Development over like the last two years Yeah so I followed Duke a little bit Throughout high school you know he's uh With building the online Mastermind uh Mastermind staying throughout high School and then throughout College he Started the online Mastermind uh Summits So you know I definitely want to go as Soon as I can I was able to go last year Finally so you know you know I've heard About him a lot and you know just in the Space you know talking offensive Alignment there's only so many got to Talk about it the way he does so Definitely God guaranteed it towards [Music]
Questions about kind of what's ahead Yeah I mean I've definitely got some Questions about some rookies obviously I'm very honored that I'm in that Position because you know a year ago Today that was me to Teemo and me to cam So very cool that I've kind of been able To you know be in that role you know Earlier than maybe I even thought I'd be So definitely cool you know like I said We got a great group of rookies in there You know those guys love to learn love To get better so and if you're not Getting to help them out I'm gonna do it Player do you have Do you have North Carolina Sports betting no no opinion on that no Opinion no sir [Laughter] You know how what how is it good to have That presence yeah one more time I hear The first part uh talking about Corvette Having him back out here and just Watching what y'all are doing how nice That to happen back out here yeah it's Great you know core was like another Coach out there you know great to have Another guy like that another offensive Offensive line a guy like that you know On the sidelines being able to kind of Be in that coach's role a little bit More that he's not you know in some of The drills so definitely good have Another coaching core but player coach
