About

One of the fastest growing cities in the US Charlotte is one of the most sought after places to live. When you move to Charlotte you will find a city with plenty of things to do and see. From breweries and wine bars to hip eateries serving Southern comfort food the Queen City has something for everyone. Charlotte is a very pedestrian friendly city with a lot to explore on foot. If you love music there are free concerts in the parks and downtown every weekend. The burgeoning arts scene is also impressive, with theater and dance performances happening frequently throughout the year.

Sports fans will be in their element as well. The city supports a variety of professional and college teams. The Carolina Panthers are the big draw but there’s a lot of passion for the Hornets and even NASCAR.

The city has a humid subtropical climate so the summers are hot and humid and the winters are cool and damp. But because of the city’s inland location it does not experience the full force of hurricanes like those that hit Florida or Texas. The average temperature is about 68 degrees during the day and 48 at night. The highest temperatures occur in the summer and it is not uncommon to reach 90 degrees. The coldest months are in January and February, but on average it only gets down to freezing on two days per winter.
