Locker Room Sound: Week 4 Post-Game

Watch Miles Sanders, Adam Thielen, Brian Burns and more players speak to the media after the Panthers’ Week 4 loss to the Vikings.

Miles a week ago there weren't a lot of Rushing attempts this week a more Concerted effort why is this team not Been able to sustain that part of the Game Um this uh just not executing uh That's all I can really say is just not Executing it plays all parts um with Everybody with the you know with us Starting with the running backs in in The whole line and you know just being On the right guys and stuff but it takes The whole office that you know have a Good ring game not just a it's not just On o-liner or just the running backs it Takes everybody and it just hasn't been To our best at all so It was a problem in the second half what I know every Everything different but was there a General theme on why that gave you guys Fits is that again was there a theme on Why that Blitz their Blitz package gave You all problems Um Well we we know what type of defense Like everyone they like to bring a lot Of a lot of Blitz zero and stack the Stack the line of scrimmage and make it Pretty difficult they gave us pretty Much every look that we you know we've You know um expected uh I thought we did A pretty good job it's just uh you know The urgency and getting all the Huddle

Stuff and delayed games is what's really Killing us you know trying to get into a Real Rhythm we can't really get into a Real Rhythm and it's just not honestly We're not playing good football right Now and that's no point fingers to Anybody but but you know everybody it's Not just one person it's everybody that Has to do with this you know it's the Whole offense and it's something that we Gotta we gotta change quickly it's it's Just gonna be the telephone story this Year Personally I know you wanted this one um How tough was this loss yeah it's tough Um it's tough it was a tough day uh to Be honest um but uh felt like we could Have won that game Um you know once once I was on the field I didn't It just was another football game and I Want to win and I don't care who's over There Um you know then obviously before the Game and after the game got to cut out Catch up with a lot of influential People in my life and so very thankful For that but Um but definitely wanted this win no no More than any other day just wanted to Win A little bit once you get inside the Red Zone what did you see with that and what Do you guys have to do better going

Forward to kind of score when you're in Those positions yeah we knew we knew That this is a tough defense as far as As they just bring a lot of you know Crazy looks a lot of pressure they make It tough on you they're not going to Just sit back and play defense and show You what they're gonna do and so we just Didn't execute on a few opportunities Um and then you know you get pushed back And and itself so we got to find a way To continue to have positive momentum And once we get in the red zone and and To uh you know capitalize on the Opportunities when we get them All I know is just put our hair down and Work I've been in a few situations like This in my career and you know I feel like you gotta either bill for it Or you're not so you go out there and You ignore the noise and you continue to Work and you work until some change yeah You know it's it's not the start we Wanted and then we're just continuing to Work they'll continue to do the things That we need to do Um you know there's still one goal in Mind so you know we just got to get the Get the first one and then just continue To roll from there Frank's in situations Like this he relies on captains relies On Leadership Council guys as one of Those guys what do you say in the soccer Room at 014

Um man honestly you can't get too down On yourself uh so you know I'm saying Like it's at a certain point of time and You gotta man up you know Um in that time has been been well Overdue Um So I I mean I don't have much to say Like I said I want actions to speak I feel like you're ready Um Early on it was Early on there was a couple plays that They they had a couple explosive runs um That came truly down to alignment and Technique Um the second half is when they started To you know stick with their run game Like I said this is a team that averages 30 40 you know passing attempts you know What I'm saying that's just they found Some Network and they stuck with it
