Charlotte North Carolina

Charlotte North Carolina – A Diverse City

Charlotte North Carolina is one of the most diverse cities in the United States. It’s a year-round destination filled with festivals, outdoor activities, Triple-A baseball, craft breweries and art museums.

Events, Life, Sports

The city’s history is a tangled tale of colonial times, gold rushes and a host of population booms. Today, it is a major financial hub, home to corporate headquarters for several Fortune 500 companies including Bank of America and Wells Fargo.

Weather, News

The climate in Charlotte is humid continental, with hot, humid summers and cool winters. Snowfalls are rare, but ice storms can occur during winter months, especially in the southwestern and northern portions of the region.

Temperatures in Charlotte average around 63 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer and around 32 degrees Fahrenheit in the winter. The temperature can dip down to 20 degrees Fahrenheit during the coldest days in the winter, but rarely below freezing.

Spring is the best time to visit Charlotte, as the temperatures are still mild but the flowers are in full bloom and patios and other attractions are open. The city is also less crowded, so you’ll find good hotel offers and cheaper tickets to top attractions.

People in the area are friendly and welcoming, but it’s important to keep personal space at a minimum. Asking too many personal questions or using certain hand gestures is considered rude. In addition, many of the people here are members of a number of different religions, which demands respect and tolerance.
