Charlotte, North Carolina – Home of the Belk Bowl

Located in the southern part of North Carolina, Charlotte is a city that has been known for its history. It was the site of the first gold rush in America in 1799. In fact, the streets of the city are said to be paved with gold.

The Charlotte area is home to the NASCAR Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame is filled with interactive exhibits and films that celebrate auto racing.

The city has a thriving nightlife. During the summer, the area is packed with concerts and events. During the fall and winter, the area enjoys beautiful foliage.

Charlotte is also home to the Belk Bowl, which is played every December. This event features teams from the Atlantic Coast Conference and the Southeastern Conference.
