What was that process like of leaving And eventually getting to Charlotte I Had already through the years came up a Lot to North Carolina and Tennessee and I knew that somewhere around here was Where I wanted to really put some Roots Down in that time frame my friend had Moved up here she was settled and she Was like hey Natalie there's this job Opportunity so I actually applied for a Job in Mecklenburg County Um and I got the job I remember my my Mother's Catholic my whole family is Catholic and she came up with me to help Move me it was like well we got to find Her a church and so in our quest for Finding her a Catholic church every Church that I would walk into it it was Like the diversity was just impressive Um all all kinds of people walking in And out of this church and it just made Me feel conf like there was like this Comfort level there that it's like I'm In the right place
Living in Charlotte North Carolina
The Queen City has a big-city vibe, but it still feels like a welcoming community. Residents are proud of their home and work hard to keep it thriving. The city has a huge millennial population, and a vibrant nightlife scene. Craft brewing is big in Charlotte, and going to church on Sunday morning is a big part of the culture. The cost of living in Charlotte is reasonable, and even though it’s a car-centric city, you can get around without breaking the bank.

Living in Charlotte is a lot of fun. The city is known for hosting amazing sporting events that attract millions of fans and generate lots of money for the area. The city also has a strong music scene and great restaurants that serve up everything from down-home Southern cuisine to fresh seafood, authentic Mexican food, New American fare, and more.
If you love to spend time outdoors, the city’s parks and nature preserves offer plenty of space to enjoy the sun and the beautiful scenery. Fall is the most colorful time to be in Charlotte, when the leaves start changing and the air gets crisp. Winters are mild, and it’s rare to see snow.
When it comes to work, Charlotte’s economy is primarily banking and insurance, but technology is quickly becoming a major focus as well. Large employers include Bank of America, Lowe’s, and American Airlines. The job market is also heavy in healthcare and social work, with plenty of opportunities for career advancement.
