Charlotte North Carolina – A Great Place to Live

Charlotte North Carolina is a great place to live. It has a small town feel and plenty of things to do. Its also a sports town and has three professional sports teams. The Carolina Panthers (NFL), Charlotte Hornets (NBA), and Charlotte Knights (MiLB) all call this city home. The Panthers play their home games at Bank of America Stadium, the Hornets at Spectrum Center, and the Knights play at Truist Field.

Another big perk is the cost of living. Its much lower than other major cities in the US, and the cost of housing is below the national average. The city is known for it’s banking and insurance jobs, but it’s also a growing tech hub with companies like Amazon putting their headquarters in Charlotte.

Getting Around Charlotte

The public transportation system in Charlotte is pretty good. It has an extensive bus network and a few light rail lines. There are also a few bike share programs and scooter rentals. Taxis are available as well. Charlotte has a lot of different shopping options, from traditional malls to one-of-a-kind local destinations. A popular destination is 7th Street Public Market in downtown Charlotte. It has bars, restaurants, shops, and places to buy fresh ingredients and baked goods.
