The city’s plethora of parks attracts outdoor enthusiasts with amenities like playgrounds, walking trails and sports fields. In the heart of the urban area, First Ward Park has unique play structures and a splash pad, while Romare Bearden Park in uptown offers picnic spots, a dog park and a large green space.
