When it comes to college sports, Charlotte residents have a deep appreciation for their local teams. Fans can watch any Carolina-based team from Clemson University Tigers to the University of South Carolina Gamecocks. Other notable teams are the UNC Charlotte 49ers and UNC Chapel Hill Tarheels.
