Temperatures in Charlotte are milder than many parts of the country, with temperatures averaging around 62 degrees Fahrenheit during the summer and dropping down to the low 30s in the winter. The climate also allows for four distinct seasons, including some stunning foliage in the fall.

The city of Charlotte is growing rapidly and has a strong job market, especially for those in the financial sector. Its unemployment rate in January 2023 was 3.5, down from 3.7 a year ago. The city is also home to a number of universities, such as the University of North Carolina-Charlotte.
