Although Charlotte is a large city, you can take comfort in the fact that it’s relatively safe. It is home to a large number of large companies, including Bank of America and Wells Fargo.
The SouthPark neighborhood is home to the world-famous evangelist Billy Graham. His Billy Graham Library is one of the city’s most popular attractions. A tour of this historic site will take about an hour and a half. SouthPark also boasts some of Charlotte’s safest neighborhoods with top-rated schools and low crime rates.
Many Charlotte residents have a deep love for college sports. They cheer for Carolina-based teams such as the Clemson University Tigers and University of South Carolina Gamecocks. The city’s other notable teams are the University of North Carolina Charlotte 49ers, UNC Chapel Hill Tarheels, and Duke University Blue Devils.
