Charlotte is a diverse and multicultural city that attracts people from all over the world. It is the home of multiple denominations, such as Baptist, Methodist, Episcopal and Lutheran.

Sports

The city is the home of several major sports teams, including the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte Hornets of the NFL and the WNBA. It also hosts numerous professional sporting events, such as NASCAR and golf’s Wells Fargo Championship.

Weather

The climate in Charlotte is very pleasant and comfortable year-round. Winters are mild and cold with temperatures ranging from 30 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit, while summers are hot and humid.

Rainfall is moderate with an average of 4.2 inches in August and 3.1 inches in April.

Temperatures can get quite hot in the summer with the high temperature reaching 104 degF in July and August. However, the best time to visit is during spring and autumn when hotels offer good rates and fewer tourists are around.

The city’s banking industry is thriving, with many of the nation’s largest banks calling it home. It is also the home of a number of other important businesses. These include grocery stores like Harris Teeter, Snyder’s-Lance and Bojangles’; a leading packaging company Sealed Air; and one of the top online marketplaces LendingClub.
