Monday
A dip in the polar jet stream will sustain cooler-than-normal temperatures this week and even into mid-November. Monday morning was officially the coldest morning of the season but it will get much colder later in the week. Today will feature a mix of clouds and sunshine with highs in the low-50s. Winds will be less notable than yesterday out of the northeast at 5 – 10 mph.
Clouds will increase beginning this afternoon through the evening hours. Lows will be much warmer, falling to the upper 30s. However, this won’t help us feel warmer… as a cold rain moves in overnight into Tuesday.
