Charlotte North Carolina – A Great Place to Live

One of the fastest growing cities in the US, Charlotte is a great place to live for young professionals and families. It has a lot to offer, including six Fortune 500 companies, a popular climate (four seasons), and professional sports teams in baseball, basketball, football, and hockey.
There are also a number of fun things to do, like visiting the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden for its annual Holidays at the Garden event from November through December, where you can enjoy over a million lights and holiday music!
The city’s rich culture also draws visitors and residents alike, with a variety of restaurants, museums, and events. Its temperate climate means outdoor festivals and events thrive in city parks, such as the Festival in the Park that happens September 22-24 this year in Freedom Park. Niche festivals in various genres also pop up throughout the year, such as the Charlotte Film Festival or the Charlotte Wine and Food Festival.
The arts are big in Charlotte, as well; the city has a few excellent art galleries, including the Mint Museum in both Uptown and Randolph. You’ll find an array of music venues, too, from concert halls to small, intimate jazz clubs. And, the city is home to a few theaters and even a symphony.
