How long do you date someone before you start buying them gifts? A poll from Dating.com found 71% of users don’t buy gifts for people they’ve been dating for less than six months.

A little less than half of people surveyed said they would actually dump their significant other if they received an inappropriate gift based on how long they’ve been dating. Some couples say they make a plan to not get each other gifts, but one does and it’s a surprise anyway.
