WCNC Charlotte meteorologist Chris Mulcahy says afternoon highs across North Carolina and South Carolina will be in the upper 40s and around 50 degrees. The Charlotte metro will be right around 50, while the mountains of North Carolina are much cooler Thursday and into the weekend.
