Charlotte, North Carolina is a city that’s full of breweries and wineries. Charlotte is home to Blue Baze, NoDa Brewing, Legion Brewing, Triple C Brewing, and Stony Mountain Vineyard. There are tours and tastings available at each location. If you’re a beer connoisseur, you’ll appreciate the care put into crafting each batch. The area is also a great place to explore local wineries.
As one of the most culturally diverse cities in the United States, Charlotte is home to a wide range of ethnic groups. The population is roughly 48 percent white, 35 percent black, and 6 percent Asian. The rest is made up of people of mixed races and people of other races. Charlotte is also believed to be the second most religious city in the United States, with the majority of residents belonging to Protestant Christianity. There is a nearly 50:47 male-to-female population in Charlotte.
Charlotte is home to some of the biggest companies in the world. Some of the largest employers include American Airlines, Bank of America, and Lowe’s. The city’s job market is heavy in the finance and insurance sectors, as well as health care and social work. It is also home to a branch of the University of North Carolina.
Charlotte’s vibrant arts scene also offers many ways to enjoy a day out in the city. A variety of festivals take place in Charlotte, and each of them offers a different kind of entertainment. The Festival in the Park, held in the fall, is one such event. It features live music, local food, and art exhibits. There’s also the Kings Drive Art Walk, where local artists display their work.
