Charlotte North Carolina – Fun For the Whole Family

The city of Charlotte, North Carolina, was once the site of the first gold rush in the Americas. The federal government later set up a branch of the US Mint in the area, which is now home to the Mint Museum. At one time, the streets of Charlotte were literally paved with gold. The city has been the setting for several movies, including Homeland, and has been chosen twice to host the presidential nominating conventions.

There are a wide variety of outdoor activities and recreational activities in Charlotte. Visitors and residents can experience the many outdoor pools, restaurants, and bars throughout the city. Charlotte offers an array of fun for the whole family, from ice cream parlors to outdoor concerts. And don’t forget your sunscreen! Even though Charlotte’s weather may be mild and beautiful at certain times of the year, the city’s summers are hot and humid.

Charlotte is also a great place to experience craft beer and wine. There are many excellent breweries and wineries in the city, including the renowned Olde Mecklenburg Brewery. You can even go on a brewery tour and taste the local brew. Charlotte also has several museums.

Among the major employers in Charlotte are Bank of America, Wells Fargo, American Airlines, and Lowe’s. The area’s job market is dominated by the finance and insurance industries, but there is also a growing tech scene with Amazon’s massive warehouses.
