Happy Friday! On this edition of #WakeUpCLT To Go, we’re looking ahead to another warm weekend in Charlotte, North Carolina. Forecaster Larry Sprinkle and WCNC Charlotte meteorologist Brittany Van Voorhees will have the complete three-day weekend forecast for North Carolina and South Carolina.
Friday, Nov. 4, will be a sunny afternoon with high temperatures in the mid-70s. Friday night will be pleasant with mild temperatures dipping into the low 60s overnight with patchy fog across the Charlotte metro.
Saturday will be unseasonably warm with temperatures in the mid-to-upper 70s across the Charlotte area. Unfortunately, those warm temperatures will lead to increased rain chances with scattered showers expected Saturday afternoon and evening. The rain chances will continue into Sunday morning before the skies eventually clear by late Sunday afternoon and evening. Both nights will see overnight lows around 60 degrees.
Warm weather will continue next week. Charlotte could set a new record high. If the Queen City gets above 78 degrees, it will shatter the record high set back in 1938. Tuesday will be mostly sunny with temperatures in the 70s and things will get much cooler by the middle of next week. #WakeUpCLT #Weather #Forecast
