Charlotte North Carolina – Four Seasons and Plenty to Do
If you are looking for a city with four seasons and plenty to do, Charlotte North Carolina is the place for you. The Fall brings stunning foliage to the area, and winters are mild. Charlotte only gets snow once or twice a year, but when the temperature drops, the mountains can be covered in fresh white powder. Summers can be hot, but not as hot as some southern cities.
Beer and wine lovers can visit Charlotte’s numerous breweries. Olde Mecklenburg Brewing is the first craft brewery in the city, while Heist Brewing serves Belgian-style beers. There’s also Birdsong Brewing, a local spot with an amazing patio. Charlotte’s brewing scene is so diverse that you’re sure to find something you’ll enjoy.
The African-American population in Charlotte consists largely of Baptists. They are members of the National Baptist Convention, which is the largest black denomination in the United States. African-American Methodists, meanwhile, belong primarily to the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church and African Methodist Episcopal Church. There are also a number of African-American Pentecostal organizations.
Charlotte hosts numerous festivals and events throughout the year. During the fall, there’s Festival in the Park, where you can enjoy live music and local cuisine, as well as art exhibitions. You can also enjoy the Kings Drive Art Walk, which showcases the work of North Carolina artists. Another annual event is the Latin-American Festival, a one-day event that celebrates Latin culture with Latin cuisine and music.
